Red Moroccan Berber Handwoven Mat

This is a traditional handmade wool fibre Berber mat. The Berber people live in the Atlas Mountains of the Kingdom of Morocco. The woman are known for spending many hours weaving these mats on wooden looms.

The re Moroccan Berber Mat measures 183 centimetres long by 57 cm wide and there is a wool fringe on each end of the mat.

The red Berber traditional mat is adorned with shiny sequence discs.
