Handmade Sterling Silver Mokume Gane Cuff Bangle

Description

This unique sterling Silver featuring handmade Mokume Gane cuff bangle measures 2.5 centimetres wide and 7 cm across fitting a larger sized wrist.

The special technique of Mokume Gane is extremely difficult to make.

The mockume gane feature piece has been riveted to the side panels of sterling silver.

The process of mokume gane is done with heat soldering multiple layers of copper and sterling silver sheeting together and then rolling with a mill to flatten.  Then the solid piece is beaten with a ball hammer and then it is filed to show the layers and patterns.
